Politics AND Religion?

The 2022 midterm elections are in the books (mostly...) and the tensions around the political divide in America may be reduced to simmer again, at least for a few months. If you want to bring a conversation to the boiling point this Thanksgiving just add religion to your political opinions. There are countless opinions of why these two subjects can be so divisive but very few suggestions about how to combine them in a productive way. That does not mean we shouldn't try!
